Ya que hemos pasado San Valentín, les hablaré de algo interesante. Los detalles de boda.

En resulta de que los detalles de boda es uno de los elementos que más quebraderos de cabeza les da a los novios. ¿He dicho novios? ¡No!

Qué bonito, voy a llorar.

Often when a motorist is convicted of an offence they as part of their sentencing they receive penalty points, or endorsements.

In the event of points being given, the lowest amount that can be received is two points for lesser offences and for serious offences the maximum given is eleven, with the majority of offences warranting three points or more penalty points. In certain cases points are given for multiple occurrences of the same crime(for example if more than one tyre is defective) and penalty points are usually obligatory but the actual number of points is discretionary.

Each type of endorsement has a unique offence code and the points are recorded on the counterpart to the photo license and upon conviction you will need to produce this to either the fixed penalty office (FPO), the police, or at your court appearance, so the points can be added.

Depending on the offence the penalty points must stay on your license for a duration of either four or eleven years. They stay on for four years if you have committed reckless/dangerous driving, offences resulting in disqualification or have been disqualified from driving until a driving test has been passed, and for eleven if the conviction is related to drugs or drinking and driving, causing death by careless driving while under the influence, or causing death by careless driving, then failing to provide a specimen for analysis.

If you are a repeat offender you may be given points for each motoring offence and if you manage to amount twelve or more points in a period of three years then you will have you license revoked under the totting up system. In the first two years of driving you will lose your license if you tot up six or more points in a two year period.

Payment Protection Insurance is a product that can be offered with any financial service i.e. a mortgage or credit card, many consumers in the UK voluntarily purchase it with a service each year as protection against loss of employment, health issues or financial hardship. Now many clients are making PPI claims to claim back some of the money which they have paid to the banks.

Banks aren’t obliged to offer this service but if they do they are required to ensure they understand the background of the customer and are certain the PPI would cover them in the unforeseen.

Many Banks are profiting from this in one of two ways, the first is to allow the customer to choose to buy PPI with no persuasion, this means they can offer them any product and it doesn’t necessarily have to be appropriate for that customer.

The cover they buy could insure them for the wrong value of their financial service and in most instances if the unforeseen does happen, they are not eligible for the insurance. This has left thousands of customers in financial ruin when not being able to pay back a loan after an accident or cover their mortgage when they have been made redundant.

If that wasn’t sneaky enough the Banks can exploit loopholes allowing them to tag PPI on to a financial service without even telling the customer, they may not notice and will not likely need to claim. Even if the customer finds them self unable to pay their loan, the bank will not advise them to use their PPI unless prompted.

This kind of scamming has accounted for almost £1bn profit for the UK banks in the last year and with the number of unemployed remaining high this figure is likely to increase. It has reportedly affected over 8000 families in the UK in 2009. Many families are seeking compensation to claim back their PPI payments.

When it comes to choosing a pair of motorbike gloves to see you through the winter months there are some key points to take into consideration. Following our simple guidelines you will benefit from the knowledge of what components go to make up a good set of gloves that will not only keep your hands warm and protected but also provide a high level of comfort to enhance your overall riding experience.

First of all, a good pair of motorbike gloves designed to combat winter weather should make use of gore-tex fabric. This is the best synthetic fabric available as it will make gloves windproof, waterproof whilst still remaining breathable.

Look out for the most recent development in gore-tex, the X-Trafit gloves technology, this allows for superb dexterity and for easy fitting of the hand into the glove due through bonding of the liner to its waterproof membrane.

Next up look out for gloves that have Thinsulate lining, this is extremely effective at soaking in heat and keeping it there and at the same time, as the name suggests, it is a light and thin. This enables a feel somewhat similar to that of summer gloves and provides more freedom and movement and a greater overall feel for the bike.

Also look out for adjustable Velcro closings at both the wrist and the cuffs. This will allow a tight and tailored fit that prevents leakage of heat and makes for a comfortable fit.

Finally there is the option of heated motorbike gloves. These may cost slightly more than your average motorbike gloves but can be highly effective and well worth the money, acting as a sound investment to combat even the coldest and iciest of conditions.

So just bear in mind that as with almost everything in life, you usually get what you’ve paid for so have a good look around both online and on the high street and find yourself a glove that fits with the criteria outlined in this article. Good Luck!

The cost of running a web design agency such as Nivo Design is considerably smaller than running a similar agency in down town London.

And as the internet technology allows people to communicate freely and more importantly practically for free, there has never been a better time to look further afield to find a better bargain.

With lower overheads and possibility to use VoIP technology it is surprising that many customers have not yet caught up on the idea of getting their web side of businesses built and maintained in places such as Eastern Europe. Naturally there is a sense of keeping the business here, rather than sending it somewhere else, but it may mean spending lots more money unnecessarily.

It is not a new idea of outsourcing a business to offshore countries. Japan has been doing this in China for many decades, And luckily for them to, as China is set to become the world leader in semiconductors in a few more years. They already are in manufacturing terms, but they lack the researching technology to lead in innovations yet..

And let’s just face it, the leaver of power is slowly but certainly moving from the west to the east, and in order to become more competitive for turbulent times that may lie ahead it is wise to explore such an opportunity. This is even more so, because it has just freshly been made possible by the relentless advances of the information technology. To find out services that Nivo Design can offer contact us on our contact page.

Or simply send us an e-mail to requesting a free quotation.

In the past several years in Canada, the utilization of renewable energy has become a priority, especially in the forms of solar power and wind power. Another form of renewable energy in which Canada is beginning to see potential is that of wave and tidal power. Though much of the country’s focus has been on the aforementioned solar and wind industries, Canada’s eastern and western coasts make wave and tidal power a natural choice as the next energy on which to focus.

Much renewable energy is harnessed for the production of electricity to power homes and offices. While biofuels, wind, and solar energy are making strides in Canada, wave and tidal power has not received the same amount of attention. This may soon change due to the amount of ocean available on both coasts and to the north. In fact, these coasts are capable of producing a quarter of Canada’s annual electricity consumption through wave and tidal power. And because the waves and tides are a consistent natural force, wave-powered energy production is more dependable than that provided by the intermittent sun and wind.

The perception that Canada is lagging in the wave and tidal power department is partially due to its overshadowing accomplishments in solar and wind power. In actuality, Canada trails only the United States and United Kingdom in wave power development. Natural Resources Canada is helping future wave and tidal projects by creating an atlas that points to useful locations in which to construct wave and tidal power plants.

Nunavut is one such location. Meaning “our land” in Inuktitut, it became independent of the Northwest Territories in April of 1999 and comprises a large portion of northern Canada. Consisting of just over 29,000 residents spread over a region the size of Western Europe, it is an ideal location upon which to set up onshore wave and tidal power systems. Because the residents that live along Nunavut’s water do not use the shores for recreation, the concrete and steel structures of a wave powered turbine would not interfere with swimmers or boaters. Furthermore, in the waters of Nunavut and Canada’s eastern and western coasts, there are plenty of available oceans for offshore wave and tidal power systems.

Riding the waves in order to create the pressure needed to move electricity-producing turbines, the bobbers and hoses of a wave power system require no power besides the renewable energy of the earth’s waves to operate. Canada has more than enough shoreline to me use of wave and tidal power technology.

There is a growing concern these days for the environment, and several countries have taken the initiative to promote the use of renewable energy to lessen humanity’s impact on the planet. Canada is one such country taking the lead in green technologies, and using biofuels is one of the steps they have taken in becoming one of the world’s leaders in the consumption of environmentally friendly fuels.

Biofuels are simply liquid fuels manufactured from plant and animal materials. Because this matter is biodegradable, it is not only capable of powering vehicles and heating homes, but the waste is then absorbed once again into the earth, nurturing new life able to provide future renewable energy sources.

Bioethanol, commonly referred to as just ethanol, is the most common biofuel currently in production. Canada’s federal government has taken note of ethanol’s potential as an alternative renewable energy and created a plan requiring gasoline to contain 5% ethanol by the end of this year. The plan would also require diesel fuels to contain at least 2% ethanol by the end of 2012. As a matter of fact, the provincial government of Manitoba has taken a leadership role in the biodiesel industry by creating mandates requiring similar percentages as those devised by the federal government that will go into effect in 2010. This precedes the federal mandate by two years. Manitoba is known for its prairie lands, the crops that grow there, and the animals that graze upon these crops. The amount of plant and animal materials available for the production of biofuels is great. Manitoba has inspired the provincial government of British Columbia to adopt similar strategies.

The corporation of Raven Biofuels Limited was established to research and develop technologies conducive to efficient and prolific use of biofuels throughout Canada, and they have identified British Columbia as a starting point. Joining Raven Biofuels International Corporation (RBIC), their goal is to pay RBIC a fee providing them exclusive rights to biofuel development in Canada. Their intent is to build the first commercial biorefinery and place it in Kamloops, British Columbia. Though it may seem as though a monopoly or trust would emerge from this partnership, the goal is to set an example and to provide guidance to other potential commercial endeavors. Municipalities have partnered with British Columbia’s provincial government to create the BC Bioenergy Strategy, which has already garnered $25 million to fund a Biofuel energy Network focused on furthering biofuel technology not just in British Columbia, but throughout Canada.

As a renewable energy source, the sun’s infinite supply of rays is second to none. Solar cells are designed to capture solar energy and transform it into other forms of power such as electricity. Like so many other forms of alternative energy, Canada is taking strides to claim a perch near the top in the solar cell industry.

Solar cells operate via the photovoltaic effect. Voltage is created when electrons are transferred from one material to another. When this transfer occurs, voltage is built up between two electrodes. As photons in sunlight strike solar cells, materials such as silicon absorb them and electrons are freed from the material. This flow of electrons creates electricity. Solar cells perform this task specifically using the sun’s radiation. They are grouped together to form the familiar solar panels seen on rooftops and solar farms worldwide.

Due to its abundance of high pressure systems, Canada possesses a good number of sunny days by which to produce electricity via solar cells. Research and development in the country is funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. Additionally, a number of national photovoltaic energy companies have invested in the development of these types of power systems in order to position themselves as a viable force worldwide using this renewable energy. This has been done in conjunction with climate change programs set up by the federal government.

Universities have especially taken the lead in forging the development of solar cells in Canada. The University of Alberta has teamed with the National Research Council’s Institute for Nanotechnology to focus on the improvement of plastic solar cell efficiency. Known for its open prairie, Alberta is already noted for its wind power capabilities and is now ready to obtain power from the open sky as well. Silicon, which is the most common element in solar cells, is in short supply and as result is rather expensive. Scientists in Alberta have aimed their attention toward optimizing the output of plastic solar cells to ease cost and increase production. Layers of materials make up the construction of a plastic solar cell in a fashion similar to a sandwich. Scientists at The University of Alberta have already noticed as much as a 30% increase in efficiency over conventional silicon cells in only one layer of the “sandwich”.

As Canada continues to make strides in the renewable energy industry of solar cells, the country will continue to seek cheaper and more efficient methods of turning the sun’s rays into usable power.

New-Energy-Portal is a Renewable Energy Business Directory where you can find great solar heating consultants and solar cooling system providers. Make the most of all these resources for day to day activities.

Yesterday ( the 10th of February )the Alan Titchmarsh show on ITV (network TV for you Americans) sunk to new depths, at 5:00 pm in the afternoon in a slot next to specifically children’s TV he featured a valentines piece about adult toys which featured sex furniture and clitoral pumps as valentines fun.

I know the world, has changed since I was a child, and that the discussion of sex has become a lot more open, but I really do think discussion of such items needs to be on at an appropriate hour and on an appropriate channel.

Alan who gained frame within the UK as a Gardener and horticulture expert, since moving to daytime TV has developed a little bit of a reputation as a dirty old man, A complaint on a websites describes him by saying “I Was only saying last week that I’ve watched a few shows and he seems to have become a bit of a dirty creepy old man always trying to make sordid comments so tonight will be mana from heaven for him.”. Not really what one would expect from a man whom 5 years ago would be described as the housewives favourite.

It is not the first time Alan aged 60 has ventured into this realm and his Sex Guru Julie Peasgood, is a regular on the show, and he regularly seems to be pushing the boundaries of cheeky into dirty.

Last year he was the target of some Wikipedia hackers who claimed that he had made contributions to an updated version of the Karmas Sutra, something which he did deny in the press and many would find hard to believe.

Currently though there have been numbers of complaints about the show there has been no official comments from ITV about the program or the nature of the material made within it. It would hope that in future ITV are responsible enough to place the appropriate material in the appropriate timeslots.

So now January is over did you manage to stick to your new year’s resolutions? If your resolution was to lose weight, get fit or tone up and you managed to make it through the January blues into February then congratulations is in definitely in order and a pat on the back

A full month in to your new fitness regime and you may find that progress is starting to slow and muscle gains or fat losses are decreasing week on week, as your body gets used to the new regime and adapts to the stresses you need to keep things fresh to break through the plateau. This could mean mixing up your routine or changing your supplements.

Changing your routine is the cheapest option and many can be found online depending on your goals, Maximuscle have a few listed on their website for you to try out and their routines have all been tried and tested .

The other option is changing or adding supplements into the mix. Protein shakes are a great way to both lose and gain weight. If your goal is to lose fat but retain muscle then protein shakes help by giving your muscles extra protein to stop your body breaking them down for fuel, this forces your body to break down the fatty tissue instead. Extra protein will help to form new lean tissue providing the rest of your training and diet is right then the extra protein will help you to grow and recover much faster than usual.
